Billy Vojtek (born 29 September 1943, Independent State of Croatia) is a retired Croatian Australian footballer. He migrated to Australia with his family as a child, he would go on to become one of the leading players in Australia during the 1960s and 70s. In his career he played for the Melbourne Knights (where he spent most of his career), Sydney United, Brunswick Juventus, Green Gully and the St Albans Saints. He also represented Australia on 44 occasions[1] and was controversially left out of the Australian squad for the 1974 World Cup.
